Sargam TrueType Font (TTF)

I added a few diacriticals to a TTF "dustismo" to make typing ICM notation easier in a word processor.

Double Time Sargam: Double speed sargamExample notation

Description

Sargam is an addition to the Dustismo family of fonts. The purpose of this
addition is to add several glyphs for use with Indian Classical Music composition. I
have replaced many of the punctuation characters with these music glyphs for
ease of data entry. This font is just an altered version of Dustismo regular,
which is one of the few GPL fonts around. See http://www.dustismo.com/

Usage

*****
Note
*****
Super/sub script symbols must be typed AFTER the symbol they modify. Type the main letter followed by one of the above symbols. NB in some cases
an extra space is needed after the symbols above, e.g. * and +, to obtain
the correct look. For example, you want to place a double dot below Sa, type
"S" followed by "@".

Disclaimer

This font was developed in fontforge in Linux. I have not tested this on Windows or Mac OSX or any other operating system. It is portable in that it is a TTF, there maybe some spacing issues. This font is provided "as is". It is GPLv2. You are welcome to change it and distribute it under the terms of the GPL. I am not the author of this font. I just added the ICM glyphs described above. I would like to thank Dustin Norlander dustin@dustismo.com for writing this font in the first place.
